Journey

You can get to Seewiese Altaussee traditionally by boat, solar-powered boat or on foot. Travelling by car is not possible due to the unique location on Lake Altaussee.

Hiking
The beautifully laid out circular hiking trail starts in the centre of Altaussee, where there are also public parking facilities. At the foot of the Loser, the path leads directly to us – always along the shore. The entire circular trail is around 7 km long and is also suitable for pushchairs and wheelchair users.

Plätte or solar boat
With the Plätte or alternatively with the solar boat – even the journey to Seewiese Altaussee is an experience. The solar boat runs daily at regular intervals between Seewiese Altaussee and the “Madlmaier” landing stage. The Plätten sail at regular intervals at weekends in good weather. Exclusive boat trips for you and your companion are available at any time by prior arrangement.
