At the end of April, St. Wolfgang becomes a stage for art: encounters, conversations, and genuine insights into creative processes emerge everywhere – and suddenly you are no longer just an observer, but right in the middle of it all. In selected moments, you take the brush into your own hands, experiment, and discover how inspiring it is to experience creativity in a truly hands-on way.
You stay at the Landhaus zu Appesbach, stylishly located on the lakeshore – close enough to be at the heart of the action, yet perfectly placed to pause, breathe, and let your impressions settle. There will be many highlights – and one is guaranteed: the journey up Mount Schafberg, accompanied by the artists. At the summit, surrounded by panoramic views and crisp mountain air, art becomes a vivid, immediate presence. It is precisely this blend of diverse locations, extraordinary impressions, personal creative expression, and a pleasurable finale that turns the Art Circle into more than a program – it becomes an artful journey.
Schedule:
- Wednesday / Arrival Day: Guided walking tour with an artist
- Thursday: Workshop with an artist
- Thursday evening: Artists’ evening at Genussschmied in the Schwarzes Rössl
- Friday: Accompanied by the artists, ride up the Schafberg by the Schafberg Railway for a live art performance on the summit “Highlight Experience” & pop art exhibition at St. Wolfgang Parish Church
- Saturday: Vernissage VIP ticket at the Schafberg Railway EQ, including drinks
