Deeply rooted in Styrian legends, this special evening recalls times gone by – stories in which farmers are said to have celebrated one day before New Year’s Eve.

Legend has it that a resourceful farmer once encountered a forest gnome in a snowstorm and tricked him into celebrating the New Year one day early. Other stories tell of farmhands and maids celebrating their wages on December 30—a custom that lives on today as Farmers’ New Year’s Eve.

In the incomparable atmosphere of Gasthaus Krenn, this tradition comes to life in a delightful and joyful way. Look forward to a traditional festive 6-course menu, magical table magic with Magic Moritz, and musical accompaniment by the band “FKK” – a playful conglomerate that provides a varied and atmospheric penultimate evening of the year with traditional sounds, Austropop classics, and the occasional rock hit.
