Code of Conduct

PREAMBLE

TAUROA strives for close and sustainable cooperation with its business partners (hereinafter referred to as “partners”) and recognizes its economic, environmental and social impact in the context of its business activities. TAUROA also expects this responsibility from its partners.
This Code of Conduct (COC) defines the minimum requirements for partners and suppliers with regard to their responsibility towards the environment and their stakeholders.

 

FUNDAMENTAL VALUES AND SUSTAINABILITY

At TAUROA’s properties, values and sustainable enthusiasm are in harmony, with sustainability forming the basis of our actions and philosophy. With the help of the enthusiasm of our employees and partners in the region, mindfulness and resource efficiency are to be anchored in the long term.

 

OBJECTIVES AND SCOPE

This COC ensures that TAUROA’s partners share the same values and comply with the standards they have set themselves. The following provisions apply to all suppliers and partners.

By entering into a contract with TAUROA, partners agree to integrate the following principles into their business practices, regularly evaluate them, provide training and ensure compliance with them.

 

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Partners must take measures to conserve resources, manage waste, reduce emissions and promote environmental awareness. They actively contribute to the protection and preservation of the environment and continuously implement measures to reduce negative environmental impacts and improve their environmental management.

 

RESPECT FOR HUMAN RIGHTS AND LABOUR RIGHTS

Partners are committed to actively upholding human and labour rights. In particular, this includes fair working conditions, ensuring health and safety in the workplace, respect for freedom of association, opportunities for training and further education and a strict ban on child labour.

 

COMPANY ETHICS / INTEGRITY AND TRANSPARENCY

Partners are committed to ethically responsible business behaviour and apply principles such as integrity and transparency in their day-to-day business. There are systems in place to monitor and comply with legal regulations and respect and fairness are cornerstones of business relationships. There is a zero-tolerance policy for corruption and money laundering. Conflicts of interest are communicated and assessed transparently.

 

CONCLUSION

TAUROA emphasises open and transparent communication and encourages its partners to exchange information. In the event of violations of this Code of Conduct, partners are obliged to initiate appropriate corrective measures immediately and inform TAUROA accordingly.
