Code of Conduct

PREAMBLE

TAUROA strives for close and sustainable cooperation with its business partners (hereinafter referred to as “partners”) and recognizes its economic, ecological, and social impact within the scope of its business activities. TAUROA also expects its partners to fulfill this responsibility.
This Code of Conduct (COC) defines the minimum requirements for partners and suppliers in terms of their responsibility towards the environment and their stakeholders.

FUNDAMENTAL VALUES AND SUSTAINABILITY

At TAUROA, lived values and sustainable enthusiasm are in harmony; here, sustainability forms the basis of our actions and philosophy. With the help of the enthusiasm of our employees and partners in the region, mindfulness and resource efficiency are to be anchored in the long term.

GOALS AND SCOPE

This COC ensures that TAUROA’s partners uphold the same values and adhere to the standards we have set for ourselves. The following provisions apply to all suppliers and partners.

By entering into a contract with TAUROA, partners acknowledge that TAUROA has defined ethical and sustainable principles as the basis for cooperation. Partners confirm that they recognize these principles and will take appropriate measures to ensure compliance, either within the framework of their own equivalent internal company regulations or by adopting this code.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Partners must take measures to conserve resources, manage waste, reduce emissions, and promote environmental awareness. They actively contribute to the protection and preservation of the environment and continuously implement measures to reduce negative environmental impacts and improve their environmental management.

RESPECT FOR HUMAN RIGHTS AND LABOR RIGHTS

Partners commit to actively protecting human and labor rights. This includes, in particular, fair working conditions, ensuring health and safety in the workplace, respect for freedom of association, opportunities for training and further education, and a strict ban on child labor.

BUSINESS ETHICS / INTEGRITY AND TRANSPARENCY

Partners commit to ethically responsible business conduct and live by principles such as integrity and transparency in their day-to-day business. There are systems in place to monitor and comply with legal regulations, and respect and fairness are cornerstones of business relationships. There is a zero-tolerance policy on corruption and money laundering. Conflicts of interest are communicated and assessed transparently.

FINAL PROVISION

TAUROA values open and transparent communication and encourages its partners to exchange information. In the event of violations of this code of conduct, partners are obliged to immediately initiate appropriate corrective measures and inform TAUROA thereof.
